ê Heritage House North is a six month residential alcohol & drug abuse recovery program for pregnant/parenting women and their small children.
ê The Heritage House North program is provided on a sliding fee scale. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
ê Women must be at least 18 years of age to participate and must be a mom, either pregnant or parenting.
ê The program uses a bio-psycho-social treatment model. Heritage House North provides individual, group, and children’s counseling, as well as case management with linkage to social services, and life skills training.
ê Children stay with mom as she recovers at Heritage House North. And they have a counselor of their own to help them recover from the family trauma of substance abuse. By keeping mother and child together, we address a woman's greatest barrier to treatment, lack of childcare.
ê Heritage House North is comprised of nine cozy apartments and a central house, with a children’s playground and beautiful Serenity Garden. Our residents live and learn together in a clean and sober environment.
ê We are a program of Southern California Alcohol & Drug Programs, Inc.- one of the largest providers of recovery care services in Southern California. Heritage House North is the sister program to Heritage House in Costa Mesa – the first residential treatment program for women with children in Orange County.
ê Heritage House North offers awareness presentations on the effects of substance abuse on women and children. These presentations are provided to the community free of charge.
ê Our program is funded in part by the County of Orange Health Care Agency. Heritage House North also gratefully welcomes contributions from our community.
ê Southern California Alcohol & Drug Programs, Inc. maintains a strict nondiscrimination policy on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual preference, age, disability, religion, or national origin.
